ObraMaestra ("ObraMaestra", "we", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit our website (obramaestra.com) or use our services.

Our services are not directed to persons under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a person under 13, we will delete that information immediately.

Information We Collect

Non-personal information: We automatically collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and referring URLs. We use analytics services with cookies to track usage patterns anonymously.

ObraMaestra does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service providers: We share information with trusted third-party providers who help us operate the platform, including:

Payment processors ( Paddle (international) and Flow.cl (Chile) ) to manage subscriptions
Web analytics services to understand platform usage
Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
Fraud prevention services
Communication providers (email, notifications)

All our providers are subject to confidentiality agreements and may only use your information for the specific purposes we direct.

Artificial intelligence models: To provide the budget generation service, the content of your conversations and any images you upload are processed by the Google Gemini API. Google acts as a data processor under ObraMaestra's instructions.

Legal requirements: We may disclose your information as required by law, a court order, or a competent government authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale of ObraMaestra, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance through our services or via email.

Image Analysis with Artificial Intelligence

ObraMaestra allows users to upload images (photos of notes, technical sheets, blueprints, etc.) for AI analysis. By using this feature, you consent to:

Images you upload being sent to the Google Gemini API for processing
Google may use this data in accordance with their own API privacy policies
ObraMaestra does not permanently store images on our servers; they are processed in transit and discarded
You should not upload images containing sensitive information such as credit card numbers, passwords, full identity documents, or other highly confidential information

International Data Transfers

ObraMaestra is incorporated in Chile. When you use our services from outside Chile, your information may be transferred to and processed in Chile or other countries where our service providers operate (including the United States and the European Union). By using our services, you consent to such transfers.

We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your personal data remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.

Security

ObraMaestra implements industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

SSL/TLS encryption for all communications between your browser and our servers
Secure password hashing (bcrypt)
Restricted access to personal data on a need-to-know basis

No security system is completely infallible. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information while your account is active or as needed to provide you services.

If you delete your account, deletion is immediate and irreversible: your name, email, phone, tax ID, logo and billing details are irreversibly anonymized, and your quotes, projects, clients, site notes and uploaded files are deleted, including any contact details of your own clients that you had saved. We do not keep a copy to restore. You can do this yourself from Account → Delete account, without writing to us or waiting; see how to delete your account.

There are two exceptions, and they are the only ones:

Tax records: if we issued invoices for your payments, tax law (in Chile, the Tax Code and SII regulations) requires us to keep the record for 6 years. What we keep is the amount, date, country and document number, with your identifier replaced by an irreversible code. It does not include your name, email or tax ID.
Email suppression list: if you ever asked us to stop sending you communications, we keep your address on our opt-out list. That is precisely so we never contact you again.

Your Rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
Erasure: Delete your personal data. You do not need to request it: you can do it yourself, at any time, from Account → Delete account (subject to the legal exceptions described under "Data Retention")
Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances
Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Objection: Object to processing of your data for direct marketing purposes
Withdraw consent: Withdraw previously given consent at any time (without affecting lawfulness of prior processing)
